SPIRITUAL LIGHT TOPIC EXTRACT: Ch: 6-6.1, 602: “THE REAL SELF”
“[Besides one’s bodies,] each individual is triune, a being composed of soul, spirit, and mind-that is, a mind or mentality. These three components of an individual are indissolubly fused together, and cannot be separated from one another, regardless of one’s realm of expression. [We frequently refer to this triune as “the real self.”]. Within this triune, the individual’s soul (portion of divinity)is constant; the individual’s spirit(animating factor) changes with its vehicle and realm of expression; and the individual’s mind or mentality can be enlarged without limit.”

Reflection:
Around 2015, while exploring Consciousness and Spirituality-related materials online, I came across the USB and Spiritual Light teachings. The book’s spiritual depth inspired me to purchase a copy. Later, following a consultation with John Finnemore, organiser, USA, I became an active Australian volunteer. In Tasmania, forming “Derwent Group of USB in Hobart.” Throughout these non-religious teachings, a key emphasis is that ‘you are free to accept only what is reasonable to you.’
In 2017, as part of my personal volunteer role, I initiated two community discussion programs based on Spiritual Light teachings. In 2026-27, I will be taking on additional USB volunteering roles. The USB is always looking for dedicated volunteers to raise awareness of Spiritual Light teachings and activities. Importantly, unlike many solely based religious groups, you are not required to disassociate yourself from any held current belief systems. Why not consider developing a small informal at-home or community-based Spiritual Light study group?
