SPIRITUAL AWAKENINGS INTERNATIONAL (SAI)

Spiritual Awakenings International (SAI) is a nonprofit worldwide network of individuals and groups interested in collaborating to raise awareness, network, and share personal experiences relating to Spiritually Transformative Experiences (STEs) and spiritual awakenings of all kinds, to raise global spiritual awareness. The phrase “Spiritually Transformative Experiences” STEs was first coined by
Dr Yvonne Kason, MD, in 1994, in her groundbreaking book “Soul Lessons From The Light.”
“A Farther Shore,” 2000. In 2026, Dr Kason has published her latest book, “Roadmap to the Great Awakening-Purifying the Heart”. Dr Kason defines Spiritually Transformative Experiences (STEs) as 6 major sub-types:

SIX TYPES OF SPIRITUALLY TRANSFORMATIVE EXPERIENCE

(1) Mystical experiences;
(2) Near-Death Experiences (NDEs);
(3) Deathbed experiences/End-of-life experiences;
(4) Death-Watch/Shared-Death experiences; and
(5) After-Death Communications;
(6) Psychic/intuitive and out-of-body experiences of many types; Kundalini / Spiritual Energy
Awakenings.

Other, Inspired creativity Death-related STEs such as “extraordinary experiences”, “exceptional human experiences”, “spiritual emergence syndrome,” samadhis, siddhis, ascension experiences, and other terms.
